Product Details
Do away with factory rev / speed limitations and ramp up the speed and the power output potential of your Polaris Sportsman ETX 325. Adjustable RPM limit adjustment is achieved by a microcontroller, selects the RPM in increments of 20 1/min. Rev Limiter overrides the ECU's base signal. REV-PRO RPM limiter plugs into the Electronic Engine Management's quartz oscillator soldered onto the ECM board which supplies the base signal for its operation. With 2 push buttons you can raise or drop the stock Rev limit in a range of + / - 20%.
This fully Adjustable Polaris Sportsman ETX 325 Performance CDI box neither affects engine reliability nor durability, unless you are racing or over-extending your engine. RPM limiter, is a programmable Voltage-Controlled Crystal Oscillator (VCXO) with uniquely extended frequency range that is designed to override the factory RPM governor and the speed governor in order to get rid of vexing factory rpm restrictions. As a beneficial side effect, it accelerates the injection timing that can only be exploited if the fuel map settings is remapped as well. Apart from the higher rotational speed needs, a remapping chip is a must in conjunction with Magnum Polaris Sportsman ETX 325 rev limiter to max out engine power capability and achieve max pep with fine throttle sensitivity.
An adjustable Polaris Sportsman ETX 325 Rev Limiter provides more precise control over ignition and Rev limit than the original components built in by the manufacturer. factory CDI Box on fuel injected engines is a surveillance-software placed in Engine computer to restrict its max revolution. This is usually implemented to prevent damage to the power source. Sometimes RPM limiter is applied to prevent an engine from reaching the point at which it develops max power capability. This may be useful in say a rental fourwheeler but very vexing when fitted to racing or tuned-up ATVs. stock Rev Limiter works by interrupting the firing power that is distributed to the plugs, this prevents the engine from operating above a preprogrammed rotational speed known as the red line limit. On stock engines the rpm level that results with the spark being arrested is assigned with a fixed rpm. REV-PRO Polaris Sportsman ETX 325 Rev Governor can be adjusted quickly and easily to reach an even or a higher rpm range than the stock set in order to override factory top end limit. stock engines will be sluggish without fuel map settings remap to work around or over the top rotational speed. On modded ATVs where the engine produces power right up to redline, the increased rev limit will allow for peak horses and additional high-end performance.

I amassed all informaton from forums and google still was puzzling this is the right tune for my Ace 500 2020. What made me bring decision was not a roll of the dice but that my techy said he installed this rev tune on a chevy truck and worked great. He was right and tune works awesome in my machine. Great support too. A bit pricey.

I put this performance CDI on my uxv 700i camo and now it runs great, got 7 mph speed increase, wow. Most bang for the buck. Shipping was super fast and all the transaction went thru smooth. The only hiccup is ecm disassembly but finally everything added up.

Tacking onto magna tech' advice i bought dyno boost to wire it up in conjunction with this cdi bypass on my 570 Sportsman. Both worked just fine but my only gripe the ecm disassembly seemed was inevitable. This caused my satisfaction drop significantly because its not suppose to be a diy job for a total beginner. Reason I don't duck a star is kev's painstaking support i was delivered throughout emailing with him.

I stumbled across this RZR rev limit delete inadvertently when surfing the net for an ecu tune. I was truly pleased with the service from magnum and wired up this device to my RZR S 1000 hurriedly. It didn't disappoint me from Alpha to Zulu everything went thru smooth. True enough a tech nimble couldn't cope with ecu disassembly but mated to a dyno fuel chip this rev chip made magic to my machine and i'll definitely recommend this to others.
